Hey all!

It’s me! The ever elusive, Mel!

 

It’s been a long time coming, but EC! has it’s own brand new non-webcomic hosting website! I spent many long hours getting this thing set up and uploading the entirety of volume one on here— and I’m sure there is more stuff I’ll need to fix further down the road— but for now I’m super happy with this website!

 

Now I need to give my portfolio site the same treatment, lol

So now, I’m sure a lot of you may be wondering “where the heck have you been, Mel???”

Valid question.

 

Long story short, I’ve been SUPER burnt out. Like. REALLY burnt out to where I didn’t draw a single damn thing for MONTHS. Barely even touched my comic, and when I did, I would get so anxious and stressed, I would stop working on it. I’ve been trapped in a personal hell of wanting to work on my comic, but being scared to.

Learn from my mistakes, TAKE BREAKS WHEN YOU NEED THEM.

 

There was a whole mess of other issues that contributed to the extended hiatus— roommate drama that escalated to unsafe levels, family issues, a TON of medical issues, and a few big trips and projects that consumed a lot of time and energy. Not to mention I did another cross country move back to California after 3 years in Massachusetts (I love and miss New England ) 

 

I’m currently finishing up some projects I committed to at the beginning of the year— & prepping for a few life changing things coming up— and then I’m going to be trying to get this comic back to updating.

For now, I wanted this to be a test post to see if I can do some journal posting, so I’m gonna cut this off here.
